Nice to see some practical variations.I've been making little shelters and spaces over the last couple of months on my little day/night journeys in the bush and it's been so much fun! I am interested but because I have never seen it in action (but been flooded out more than once when camping <___base_url___>/uploads/emoticons/default_newimprovedwinkonclear.gif ) I am a bit skeptical. telemetric Posted August 9, 2007 Author Share Posted August 9, 2007 (edited) most the material i mention above isnt waterproofed, and as i did a costing last night a bit narrow and costly for shelter use...the waterproofing substnce they use is some kind of polyethyl ??ene compund if i remember right... im really not sure how effective... actually im not sure at all what it is, i cant remeber , i once was told by a shop online.at this stage of hemp canvas production and availability for me cotton canvas possibly surplus may be the way..
